Thrifty Thursday: DIY Natural Lip Balm

Are you ready for easy and cheap?  No, it’s not a character slur, but a great idea for some Mommy Day gift giving and pampering.  You can’t get more natural and simple than a two ingredient recipe!

diy lip balmIt really is that simple!  This diy, coupled with another luxe diy gift like a citrus salt scrub, whipped body cream or distressed wooden bath shelf, would make for a sublime Mother’s Day gift for the mama who deserves to be pampered.  On the other hand, maybe it is time to treat yourself so something nourishing, natural, and a tad decadent.  Whatever your gameplan is, let me give you the scoop on how to make it happen!

You can use any pot to melt the bee wax and coconut oil in, as both are edible products.  Just mix equal parts coconut oil and bee wax on a medium low heat until it is a clear liquid.
