The first Zest it Up cooking class

So, we were totally honored to teach our very first cooking class today!  We were so excited and have started to dream of our future classes being held in our commissary.  Fun days and nights of good food, laughter and maybe even some fabulous wine tasting!

We are so excited about the menu that we taught, that we simply had to share.  For the main course:

Skirt Steak with Chili Lemon Roasted Potatoes

Lime Splashed Jicama and Pear Salad

Grilled Peaches with Mascarpone and Honey Drizzle

photo-4Drizzled with olive oil and dashed with salt, we promptly put them on the grill.hophoto-2Once they were taken off the grill, we decked out their beautiful grill markings with a dollop of fresh Mascarpone and a good dose of honey drizzled on top….YUM!
