Seasonal Sunday: Salted Carmel White Hot Chocolate

Here we are on seasonal sunday, and I don’t know about you but here in California it sure has not seemed like winter. (what’s new I suppose?) Usually I will at least get some frost on my window to scrape (i know all you mid-easters are laughing at me!) but with that said, we finally got a little bit of a wind chill factor today and I took full advantage of it. After church and many errands I threw on the sweats, made a fire, and experimented with a new hot chocolate recipe…..mmmm. cozzzzyy right?

Salted Carmel White Hot Chocolate

Serves 4

Ingredients: 

  • 8 oz. Premium White Chocolate
  • 4 Cups of Milk or Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 TBSP Salted Caramel (I made my own but here is a recipe)
  • Marshmallows

Directions:

You can make this on the stove or do a large crock pot for a party!

Stove: Combine white chocolate, milk or cream and vanilla over medium heat until melted and smooth. Top with marshmallows and add caramel to each glass of hot chocolate. Enjoy!
