Savouring Saturday: 50/50 Burger

As Chanda and I brainstormed for the Savouring Saturday recipe this week we were feeling quite naughty. Usually if we are going to throw some calories around it  manifests in bacon, cheese or chocolate. Well we got two of three in this recipe!! Meet the 50/50 burger. This burger is created with 50% bacon and 50% ground beef, MMMmmMMM. Seriously can’t go wrong, sorry vegetarians!! We also had to zest up our condiments with a gorgeous heirloom tomato, balsamic sour cream, watercress for that good crunch and a toasted ciabatta. Now let’s get cooking!!

  • Bacon
  • Ground Beef
  • Sour Cream
  • Balsamic Glaze
  • Blue Cheese
  • Watercress
  • Tomato
