OCTOBER 1st
Sara & Sean’s luxurious wedding at La Lomita Ranch was a beautiful testament of their everlasting love. The couple chose a romantic Spanish-style villa for a venue setting of timeless elegance, and added a color scheme of black, gray, and green to compliment the natural beauty of their surroundings.
The couple met while studying abroad in Florence, Italy, and quickly bonded over their mutual love of travel. They love to cook and try new restaurants, as well as hike and explore the outdoors. They wanted the fun-loving nature of their relationship and their appreciation of good food and drinks to be the two highlights of their wedding day!
CEREMONY
The ceremony was held in a picturesque plaza, with a view of Edna Valley’s rolling vineyards. Taking center stage was a rounded archway decorated with lush palm fronds, an array of black lanterns, and candles floating in tall pillars—a sophisticated backdrop for the couple to exchange their eternal vows.
One of my absolute FAVORITE elements of the day was Sara's dress! Not only was it non-traditional in color, but the way it would flow when she walked or danced was fabulous!

RECEPTION
The reception, held in the indoor Pavilion, featured a stunning arrangement of mirrorballs and greenery draped above the head table. Palm frond centerpieces adorned each table, adding a touch of tropical splendor to the ambiance. As dusk fell, the room was bathed in the subtle glow of candlelight, enhancing the chic atmosphere.
The Vibe Setters were the band for cocktail hour, providing an upbeat funky fun atmosphere as guests mingled. The escort display, which was set up outside the Pavilion, was made up of an arrangement of small tequila bottles with disco balls attached—quite a hit!
DINNER & DANCING
As the celebration began, we made sure to incorporate a handful of personal elements throughout the night. The bride & groom made their grand entrance wearing colorful leis, which were handmade in Hawaii by the best man’s mom. When it came time for the special dances, in a fun twist, the grandpa crashed the father-daughter dance. As an ode to the groom's father, who has since passed away, the couple chose to bring in a donut bar for dessert because the groom and his father always enjoyed donuts together.
Midway through the evening, Sara changed into a sparkly jumpsuit and was a queen of the disco dance floor. This couple LOVES music, and because Sean has experience DJ-ing, the DJ invited the newlyweds to come up and mix a little—this was a highlight for the guests to dance to!
