JUNE 4th
Held in the natural midsummer beauty of Ellas Vineyard, Brittany and Greg's rustic winery wedding was a day to remember. When they envisioned their wedding day, the couple shared that their priorities were to have great food & drinks, beautiful photos, and for all the guests to leave saying what a great time they had. Most of all, they wanted their love for each other to shine through every element of their special day.
It's hard for these two to remember when they met, because they grew up as neighbors, even carpooling to middle school and high school together, and Brittany was close friends with Greg's sister for the past twenty years. A few years ago, Brittany had plans to go to a country concert and someone couldn't go last-minute, so she invited Greg along. They had such a great time dancing the night away, and have been together ever since!
CEREMONY
The warm summer afternoon was perfect weather for a sweet and intimate exchange of vows in the presence of all their family and friends. The aisle was framed on either side by wine barrels with gorgeous floral arrangements on top, with the picturesque oak tree and vineyard as the backdrop. The color palette was a light and elegant combination of blush and navy blue, which brought a beautiful balance to the wedding party attire for family pictures.
RECEPTION
The reception tables were lined with modern sleek glassware, lush greenery down the table runners, and a variety of pillar and votive candles for added ambience. For place settings, we opted for dark plates, copper silverware, and blush napkins for a chic touch. Then, for added personalization, each table number featured pictures of the bride and groom at that age! The couple also chose a playful neon sign with their last name, which really popped against the wooden backdrop of the barn and made for the perfect "selfie station."
DINNER & DANCING
With the rustic barn in the background and the draped bistro lighting overhead, the reception had an understated elegance balanced with an intimate backyard celebration feel. Guests mingled and enjoyed conversation, before finding their seats on the farm tables for a delicious dinner catered by Old SLO BBQ. From dinner to the first dance to the end-of-night cake cutting, the evening was full of so many joyful moments—a highlight being when Brittany was lifted into the air wedding dress and all by all her cheer buddies for a throw back stunt together! SO fun and unexpected!
LOVE LETTER FROM THE NEWLYWEDS
"Sam and her Zest It Up team are simply amazing! We worked with Sam on planning our wedding for a little over a year and she was so helpful along the way! From vendor recommendations, to double checking contracts, answering all of our questions, and more, she made wedding planning less stressful. Sam is extremely organized, quick to respond, and very knowledgeable about the wedding industry. She made planning our Paso Robles wedding from Southern California so much easier for us. On the day of our wedding, she had solutions for any little problem that popped up, and solved issues before we even knew they were an issue. She made sure we had enough to eat throughout the day and helped ensure that our day ran as smoothly as possible. Our day would not have been nearly as perfect without her by our sides. We are so thankful for Sam and her team and cannot recommend them enough!"
