Kristi & Cooper at Dana Powers House
What’s Up Wednesday:
Today is a very special day.Today we get to show off our very own Kristi & Cooper’s magical wedding at the Dana Powers barn.
We feel so blessed to have Kristi as our assistant and were honored when she and Coop asked if we would zest up their big day. We had so much fun helping Kristi plan all the little details from building her legit altar to dreaming up the menu. Did we mention she had chicken tortilla soup as her appetizer? Yep. Bomb.com.
Now to show you some quick pics from the big day!!
The lovely ladies getting all pretty and primped. Don’t you just love those pj’s?!
We fell in LOVE with her flowers from the lovely Huckleberry Market– fabulous job ladies!!
These two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony complete with a feet washing….precious. (hence the barefoot groom-bahah!)
The barn was so glam with the intimate and oh so classy chandeliers!! Definitely one of the most gorgeous barns on the central coast (in my opinion)
There were little Kristi and Cooper touches all around, loved the gold mailbox for their cards!!
Her little sis Megan was workin’ ittttt! Gorgeous!
Look at those Newlyweds!! Happy Happy Happy.
For dinner Kristi slipped into a gorgeous boho inspired wedding dress that she was ready to work the dance floor in!!
Yep, wasn’t kidding. They showed that dance floor who was boss.
Meanwhile the Zest staff scarfed down some food in our trailer before we hit the dance floor- bahahaha!!
And now for some Gluten free vanilla bean hummingbird with coconut frosting cake anyone?
It was epic.
It was such a fabulous evening and we felt to blessed to zest!
But don’t just take it from me…
From Krisit’s words….
“After working over a hundred weddings, planning, attending, and enjoying my own was an incredibly surreal experience. The Dana Powers Barn is so magical in itself I felt like we barely needed to do anything to add to the charm. With the help of some incredibly talented graphic designer friends who made my signs, and love from the BEST BOSSES EVER, the day all came together to be absolutely blissful. The warm glow of the chandeliers paired with the groove filled dance floor kept us all jammin’ through the night. Sam, Chanda, and I all made my Gluten Free vanilla bean and hummingbird cake that was not only the first cake i’ve ever made, that wasn’t boxed, but was also sooo tasty. Shout out to any gluten free brides out there! Overall it was the best day ever I got to marry my best friend, eat the best food ever made with love from my Zest family, and got to dance with all of my favorite people. Wedding’s are the best.”
