Today we are excited to show you a company that one of our previous lovely brides, Brooke, is part of!!
Straight from them…
“The story of Jamberry Nails begins with three sisters who possess distinct personal tastes, but share a love for style. After an expensive afternoon together at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy and Keri vowed to find a simpler, more cost effective way to keep their hands looking polished, while still spending time together.
After lots of trial and error, the proprietary nail wraps of Jamberry Nails launched in late 2010. The DIY, at-home application and incredible variety of designs caught on quickly and sales soared. A new era of nail art was born.
Gone are the days of nails that chip and flake after only a few days! Gone are the days of the single colored manicure. Gone are the mani/pedis that take all afternoon and most of your cash too! Jamberry nail wraps arm you with style and confidence while demanding very little of your time or money.”
So we thought we would put the nails to the “zest” challenge and see if they can handle the madness of a zest day!! (aka sewing, cooking, sanding, typing, etc.)
After doing a simple nail prep of filing and wiping our nails with alcohol, it was time to pick our designs. Each of us decided to rock an accent nail in their bomb designs!
First step is to remove the “sticker” of your choice, and warm it until it is soft. It took about 2 seconds.
Next up? Press the sticker onto your nail and smooth it down towards the cuticle bed with a nail stick.
After filing the sticker smooth to your nail’s edge, apply heat once more to make the adhesion complete.
Smoothing it down once more with the nail stick and you are good to go! I love the high shine of the “polish.” It looked like an immediate high style manicure. We cannot wait to really put this mani to the test…but my nails already feel stronger. It will be nothing short of a miracle to survive a Zest girl’s finger nails longer than one day.
We had so much fun picking out all the colors and fun personalities for each nail!! Yay for fun nails!
