Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ranch, ahh ranch. You are so good. I love you on salads, veggie platters and most of all Pizza. Can I get an amen?! The crust dunked in ranch— ah so good. As we enter our winter veggie season and tend to put on some extra “fluff” here is a yummy and easy homemade ranch recipe to keep some motivation to eat those salads, even when they don’t seem so warm and comforting in the rain. I know I often just grab a bottle of good old Hidden Valley Ranch and don’t think twice about how easy Ranch really is to make. It wasn’t until I went to a friends house for dinner and she had made homemade ranch for our salad that I realized just how much yummier homemade ranch really is. Not to mention healthier too! I made mine with only sour cream but if you are not counting the calories def add some mayo for that added bonus.

Mince up your garlic, chop your fresh herbs and then throw them in a bowl to stir or place all ingredients in the food processor and gave it a quick whirl. Now if you want your Ranch to be thick, don’t add much buttermilk- if you want it to be a bit more runny in consistency simply add more buttermilk.

Happy Veggie dunkin’
