Hibiscus Italian Cream Soda

I come from a large Italian family, but surprisingly we don’t drink many Italian sodas? I guess we just like our vino 😉 haha. I will say that I like my bubbles and often add cream to my tea, so when I started thinking about how to make a unique Italian Soda from Hibiscus tea- between the creamy flavor factor and the color punch I was sold! Plus there are so many health benefits of hibiscus tea!! These include relief from high blood pressure and high cholesterol, as well as digestive, immune system, and inflammatory problems. This would be the perfect drink for a bridal shower, birthday celebration or even wedding. We catered a wedding that had quite the Italian Soda Bar- complete with 15 different flavors! Now that’s what I am talking about- variety and color!!

Simply brew a pot of hibiscus tea and let cool completely. Next pour about 5 oz of sparkling water into a glass of ice.

Top off with hibiscus tea and then some creamer, this is where the beauty swirls and twirls- so pretty!

Add sweetener if you please, time to kick your feet up and sit outside to enjoy these deliciously creamy bubbles!

Servings: 1 glass
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup hibiscus tea, cooled
  • 5 oz sparkling water/club soda
  • 2-3 tbsp creamer
  • sweetener (optional)
  • ice
Instructions
