I know it’s been a big trend in the past year, but Chanda and I LOVE our kombucha! We constantly get this tasty beverage to fight the common cold, help with gut issues or even sip simply for enjoyment. Hence the “mocktail” we are going to create today. Now you might be scratching your hear thinking Komb- whaaaaat? Rewind- let me explain what Kombucha even is. Kombucha is a fermented beverage made of black tea and sugar (honey, sugar cane, fruit, etc) that once fermented becomes carbonated and contains vinegar, vitamins, and enzymes. Kombucha is packed with probiotics, aka healthy bacteria, that line your digestive tract and will support your immune system. So WHY not drink this beautiful beverage that is so much more than a fruity drink!?
A few simple steps and you are on your way to sipping something delightful!

This refreshing cocktail is not only delicious but is packed with ginger and probiotics!
- 1/2 zested grapefruit
- 1 shot mint simple syrup
- 8 oz Ginger Kombucha
- 1/2 juiced grapefruit
- 1 cup Ice
- mint for garnish
First fill your glass with ice, then squeeze 1/2 your grapefruit juice into ice. Next add 1 shot of mint simple syrup. Zest 1/2 your grapefruit into the cup, top with 4 oz ginger Kombucha, garnish with mint sprig and enjoy! Add more simple syrup if you prefer sweeter cocktail.
