Glittered Horseshoes for a Vegas Cowboy Fete
What’s Up Wednesday
Admittedly, today’s post is a little bit of a throw back. What’s up today is that we are busy little beavers pulling together a midweek celebration with a Mary Poppins theme (how dang adorable is that??). With our hands being busy with cooking, crafting and planning, I figured why not share a little DIY we did for the Sparkle & Spurs party we helped pull together last month. Set up in the barrel room at Higuera Ranch, it was a fabulous dinner and casino night for our lovely client Kristen to enjoy with her dearest friends and family. It was a fabulous night!
Here is a quickie little DIY for some of our rustic sparkle!
rusted old horseshoes (we found ours for cheap on Ebay)
adhesive (we used an Elmer’s glue spray)
tarp (glitter is MESSY y’all)
We only sprayed half the horseshoe, because we wanted to see the amazing rusted patina of these old shoes.
They helped add so much fun sparkle and texture everywhere that we scattered them for the party!
What a perfect little accent for a Vegas Cowboy fete! Perfect atmosphere for saddling up to the poker table!
