Easy Strawberry Dessert
With strawberry season and Easter around the corner we thought we better share one of our favorite little “go to’s.” This little flavor bomb will quickly become an easy recipe to keep in your back pocket for unexpected gatherings! Not only does it take all of 5 minutes to prep, but it’s a great dessert that has guests all gathered around one table munching away while gabbing and dunking. Simply wash some strawberries and place bowls out for guests to dunk and enjoy….this addictive treat even has Evie (Chanda’s youngest) requesting these beauties instead of a Birthday cake this year- now that’s a dessert worthy of repeat!
Chances are you already have all of the ingredients in your kitchen…greek yogurt (or sour cream)….raw sugar or brown sugar….fresh strawberries!
First chop off all your strawberry green’s to make it easier for eating!
And here is the complicated step…place all ingredients in bowls and grab some forks, I got these fancy mini disposable forks from the dollar store to “snazz” up my presentation because let’s face it- anything “mini” is SO cute!
First dunk your strawberry in greek yogurt…
Next roll and dunk in your sugar…
And my personal fave- consume!! This will quickly become and easy “go to” my friends! Enjoy!
With little to no prep these strawberry bites are perfect for last minute hosting. Gluten free and delicious, these will be your “go to” for dessert or brunch!
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1 cup greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 cup brown sugar or raw sugar
Wash strawberries and cut off green stems. Place all ingredients in bowls for dipping. First dunk strawberry in yogurt, then roll in sugar and enjoy!
