Easy Grand Marnier and Nutella Chocolate Fondue
When I say “easy,” I mean easy! We are talking microwave, y’all!
Nutella is one of those foods that means childhood, comfort and maybe even gourmet all in one. There is something so darn impeccable about the mixture of hazelnuts and chocolate. I love it on toast, cookies, with fresh fruit, or just on a spoon. Hard to believe that I am going to suggest that it can be improved on! However, adding a little kick with the wonderful orange liquor called Grand Marnier. Ummmm, boozy, warm Nutella? Sign me up!!!
Place a 1/4 cup of Nutella in a microwave safe bowl. Add two tablespoons of cream and pop it into the microwave for about 15 seconds. Give it a stir, and pop it back into the microwave for another 15 seconds. Repeat with stirring until the mixture is warmed and lusciously creamy.
Now, add in the two tablespoons of Grand Marnier. Whisk it together until it is smooth and ready for dipping!
Go ahead and dip whatever you want! I chose to keep it gluten free and quasi-healthy by dipping some apples and strawberries. Okay, okay, not really healthy, but this lusciousness sure does the job at the end of a stressful day! Gather a couple of friends and kick your feet up!
