You see this???

Look a little closer….

photo 2Yep, found these little guys smashed in the goodwill parking lot screaming for help in the heat. No worries, sam to the rescue.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI took them back home safe and sound and knew the perfect vessel, our newly found thrift store find that cost us a buck. Free plants + $1.00 vessel? Thrift thursday? Heck yes!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASupplies:

  • Succulent (unless you are lucky enough to find yours in a parking lot, you might have to buy them-tee hee)
  • Spanish Moss
  • Reinderr Moss
  • A cool vessel (basket/bowl/pot/branch/etc.)
  • Newpaper (optional if you can’t contain soil in vessel)
  • Soil

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFirst I pressed in the reindeer moss and spanish moss against the wire to create a natural looking wall

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAfter I covered the entire span I made a little cup using newspaper, it’s great because this will hold the soil together but decompose over time as the moss forms the wall to contain the plant….

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAdd your soil…
