I know I have told you about The Educated Gardener before but I thought I had better bring Miss Anya and little Rupert there to wander around the beauty and really show off all this time of the year has to offer in the garden. Now if you are scratching your head right now and unsure of this place, let me show you a wonderful little pit stop in the dear town of Santa Margarita. Not only is the owner, Simone, very helpful and has a degree in Landscape Architecture- but she certainly has a green thumb that is showcased beautifully. Being a Landscape Architecture major myself, this nursery does a great job of having gorgeous native plants but also showcasing them in a way that inspires you in your own home. I think that making that connection with a nursery and a client is SO huge- you not only admire the quaint little garden but also see how you can take a piece of it home to plant your own little haven. And that’s exactly what I did….after doing a photoshoot with Rupert the french bull dog of courseTee hee….
I managed to pick up some black beauty squash and duck weed for the pond at home- score!
Back at home the duck weed was exactly what I needed to offer the fishes some privacy and add some more green!
