Strawberry Moscow Mule Cocktail

Strawberries are in season and I am pumped!! What a better way to “zest up” my favorite cocktail than with a few fresh strawberries?? As you enter into summer BBQ’s and pool parties this would be the perfect drink to sip along with friends. You could make a large batch or make individual servings. A moscow mule is sweet yet spicy and tart drink- all the best combo if you ask me!

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries (2 per drink)
  • Vodka (1 shot per drink)
  • Ginger beer- (1/2 a bottle or so per drink, I love this brand!)
  • Limes (two tablespoons per drink)
  • Ice

Start by squeezing your limes into your cocktail mixer or copper mug

Next muddle your strawberries so they are nice and smashed but still oh so flavorful! You could add agave if you like your’s sweeter but I love the natural strawberry sweetness with the tart lime and spicy ginger beer together!

Once muddled add 1 shot vodka and fill the rest of the cup with ginger beer. If you don’t want any strawberry seeds you can always shake the mixture and pour out over strainer but I love to eat the strawberry chunks. yum!
