So many teacups so little storage space

The other day my dog Novalie and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. On my way home I saw a “free” sign taped to an old bunk bed. I wasn’t exactly in the market for a new bed but the miniature ladder that came with it caught my eye. I have been searching high and low for a creative way to store the dozens of coffee/tea cups that I have somehow accumulated over the years…this ladder looked like the perfect thing! IMG_0047When I got home I decided the first step was to add some paint to the old thing. I had some leftover green paint from when I “zested up” my back porch garden. I thought the green would look nice in my I went for it!IMG_0049My friend Hannah helped me paint the ladder while we listened to music and drank some wine 🙂IMG_0055

IMG_0057After the paint was dry I used some old “screw-in nail hooks” that I found in my tool box. I painted the hooks white so they would look a little nicer. IMG_0059I screwed the hooks to the bottom of each step and used it to hang my tea-cups! Now instead of crowding up space, I can show off my coffee/tea cups with my new DIY cup hanger 🙂

See you next week Zesters!IMG_0062
