Hello Zesters! Kristi Here 🙂
Last weekend I got to experience something really special! My parents renewed their vows for their silver anniversary. Many friends & family came into town to rejoice in their love. It was such a cool thing to experience their renewed commitment to each other.

Lovely bouquets of purple hydrangeas, white roses, and other various white flowers, tied with silver ribbon.

Here is my dad in his silver suit anxiously awaiting his bride. The ceremony took place at La Jolla Lutheran Church.
For the reception my sister Lauren who is 18, made a very personal and special dessert for my parents. The story goes that before my parents said I love you to each other they would say, “I Lob You”. This is also a remembrance to their first date where they played tennis. My sister used Funfetti Cake and homemade frosting. The tennis balls where made of fondant.
After the ceremony at the church my mom surprised my dad by taking him to his favorite surf spot growing up at Wind n’ Sea for a sparkling cider toast.
We had such a great time! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful example of marriage in my life and for awesome friends & family!
Until next time!
XOX,
Kristi
