Seasonal Sunday: Avila Valley Barn & Goat Cheese with honey fuju persimmons

Hellooo Zesters, our apologies for the delay in posts! We have been busy zestin’ up a lovely wedding this weekend- we are very excited to show you on What’s up Wednesday. The wedding was gorgeous and such a success- but after 6 weekends of events in a row Chanda and I were happy to have a bit of down time today. We wanted to do something fun to inspire ya for seasonal sunday, so we started off with an inspiration trip to Avila Valley Barn. If you’re a local here I am sure you know about this little gem, otherwise be sure to stop by if you are ever in the area. Whether it’s all the adorable farm animals or the tasty roasted corn, SLO maid ice cream, or fresh pressed cider and baked pies- you are sure to enjoy yourself! Check out our little adventure…

After perusing through the farm stand we were inspired by these gorgeous fuju persimmons!! We thought we better share some “savoring saturday” to make up for yesterday too:)

  • fuju persimmons
  • goat cheese
  • honey
  • thyme
  • sea salt to garnish top
