Savouring Saturday: Puff Pastry with Gorgonzola and Fig appetizer

I am in LOVE with this recipe, not only is it SO delicious but also so incredibly fast and easy. There are lot’s of wonderful uses and combos you can do with puff pastry, but seeing as Chanda and I are cheese addicts it only seems fitting to throw some cheese and fresh seasonal figs on that!! Originally Chanda saw this gem at a Birthday party over at Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa. She immediately told me about this creation and we are stoked to share it with YOU!

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry (let it thaw about 40 mins)
  • Egg wash (water and one egg)
  • Figs
  • Gorgonzola Cheese

Directions:

Roll out your puff pastry and brush with egg wash. Then slice up your figs and throw your cheese on. Easy!! Throw it in the oven and bake according to the puff pastry package. You will want golden cheese:)
