Ribbon Rose Wreaths

Ready for another elf idea? I know we have been counting down days to christmas and all these great DIY homemade gifts, so today I just had to keep the trend going as we inch near. ๐Ÿ™‚ These wreaths would be super cute for christmas or really any holiday or just to hang in your home depending on the color scheme you pick….

I got this grape vine wreath at the dollar store, this one is smaller- more of a mini wreath but you cant beat that price. If you are looking for a larger more traditional wreath wal mart has them cheap- or the ever infamous Michaels. ๐Ÿ™‚

I decided to make a few wreath for variety- so this one I spray painted with antique white and another with white for a more winter look.

now it’s time to make ribbon roses! Or in this case twine roses ( I wanted a more rustic look). Start by taking a piece of ribbon, twine, or fabric that is about 6 inches long and make a knot at end.

Then start to wind the fabric around the knot to create the swirl effect, the hot glue gun in between each row to maintain security (you could also stitch up by hand but to me glue gun is faster- just don’t get too messy)

Now time to attach- looks like Lucy wants to join. Believe it or not my 7lb weiner dog has indeed found a way to get onto our kitchen table all by herself (jumping from chair to chair). This is her newest past time while we are not home, sunbathing on our kitchen table. oyeeee veyyyy ๐Ÿ™‚

There you have it!! Add cute buttons, ribbon, twine to Zest it up!!
