Kristi here. I am back in sunny San Luis Obispo! My dad and I got in at 3:30am last night driving straight up from San Diego after our flight landed from Hawaii. This great feat occurred because today is moving day for me! I only moved across town and I do not have much stuff but it still has been a lot more work than I anticipated. Luckily I have some wonderful friends who have helped me move & paint today. As a thank you I decided to make one of my favorite beverages for them to help ease the pain…Peach Raspberry White Summer Sangria. Bear with me on the lack of kitchen utilities, as mine are still packed away!
Peach Raspberry White Summer Sangria
– 3 small peaches or 2 medium sized peaches
– 1 lemon
– 1 green apple
– 8 oz of raspberries
– 1 bottle of white wine, I used Unwined’s Pinot Grigio
– 3 oz of Peach Schnapps
– 1/4 cup of refined sugar
– 8 oz of Ginger Ale
First slice up your fruit. I cut the apples and peaches into wedges and lemons into slices.
Start by pouring your wine into the pitcher first.
I choose this particular brand based on the awesome labeling. I really felt I could identify with it haha…Here’s a closer look at the label.
Next I added the Peach Schnapps using a tiki man shot glass I purchased in Hawaii. Isn’t he cute!
Next I added the fruit!
I then added the ginger ale.
Following up the ginger ale I added the sugar!
I then stirred the concoction and placed it in my fridge to cool for 2 hours. Doesn’t it look so lonely in there!
2 hours later…stir, pour, and enjoy!
Back to unpacking and painting I go! Cheers!
