Natural Pumpkin Latte Recipe

🎃 Happy Fall everyone!!! It’s pumpkin time!! 🎃
Did you do the happy dance when Starbuck’s started making their pumpkin lattes again, too? I am afraid that I geek out about that kind of crap. Hahaha. It doesn’t feel like the season has begun until I have had at least one grande soy pumpkin latte.
I just love pumpkin. However, if I’m being honest, every time I have one of those lattes, a small voice in my head starts screaming at me. That yummy, sugary autumnal flavor can’t be THAT good for me. So much sugar! Oh, and is that pumpkin flavor even real?!? I’m thinking’ “NO.” Ugh. But, I love it so much! So, I decided to make it at home and reap some serious health benefits.

Carnation Condensed and Libby's Pumpkin Puree and fresh coffee in a french press coffee maker

What I love about this little treat is that it packs a serious health benefit wallop on top of all it’s flavor. Seriously! Not only is coffee by itself loaded with antioxidants and anxiety-reducing power, but pumpkin may shock the heck out of ya. It is a power hitter when it comes to stabilizing blood pressure, preventing cancer, improving eyesight, and soooo much more! You can read all about it on the Daily Burn.
With all that goodness, I know that I want to say “no thank you” to artificial pumpkin flavor. Thanks to Libby’s, adding some of this miracle food to your daily Fall routine is so dang easy!

Adding a spoonful of Libby's pumpkin puree to coffee cup
Adding a spoonful condensed milk to the spoonful of Libby's pumpkin puree

Simply mix a tablespoon of Libby’s pumpkin puree straight out of the can with a tablespoon of condensed milk and a cup of coffee. If you want to cut the sugar and dairy, you can substitute soy milk or almond milk with ease. In fact, you should totally try our homemade almond milk recipe!
