Have you walked by this little gem downtown yet?? Chanda and I have always admired the design of Grenada Bistro with it’s mix of all the latest trends- brick, succulents, tolix chairs and cool lighting!! But after a client generously gave us a gift card we were ready to test out the food!! Also in case you didn’t know they are hotel too!! Chanda and I have both been to Grenada Bistro for dinner before but were excited to scope out their lunch menu, boy were we pleased!! I think we had bigger eyes than stomachs!!
Now that I showed you around for the amazing atmosphere, time for that menu!!
We started off with some classic bacon wrapped dates, let me just say they were amazing and we gobbled them up! Loved that they used blue cheese!
Then we had to balance that last dish out with some greens, bring on the salad! This shaved asparagus salad with prosciutto, parmesan cheese and slivered beets was killer!!
And this is where we definitely couldn’t finish our food! But it was so delish and had great flavor!
A gorgeous fish and chips made with Local Rock Fish, lemon, homemade tartar sauce and wedges.
And not to mention their killer Cuban Panini filled with cuban braised pork, mojito aioli, aged cheddar, cilantro and pickled jalapenos. YUMMM.
All with a refreshing chamomile lemonade to wash it down 🙂
Not bad right?? Definitely stroll down town SLO to stop at this gem!
