What’s Up Wednesday:
Last weekend we had the joy and honor of zesting for MGE Underground, a larger local construction Company. The occasion? Their appreciation dinner!! The theme?? A rockin’ prohibition party complete with gangster signs, membership cards, gambling and even a mustache competition. Needless to say it was LEGIT. We had so much fun doing the centerpieces and thinking up a stellar menu for these meat and potato dudes- time to show off some pics from their par-tay that took place at the Paso Fair Grounds.
Guests arrived and were immediately told the speak easy “rules” to enter. Gotta love it
Into the sparkles we go…let the party begin!!
Monica, the MGE coordinator for this fabulous event worked SO hard to cut all these amazing 1920’s silhouettes. Seriously amazing, they really set the mood and made for a great photo opportunity all around the room.
It was a dreamy evening set with twinkle lights, balloons hanging from the ceiling as if they were champagne bubbles, candles and a legit bar- after all it’s a prohibition party!
We crafted up some centerpieces complete with unique beer stamped bottles and “membership” cards scattered for entering the speak easy.
Each table had their own unique speak easy rule to abide by, thanks Kristi for making these legit signs!
Even the photo booth was decked out with glitz and glam- but the mustaches here were no rival to the mustache competition!!
It was pretty fun to watch all the contestants pride in their mustaches!!
Time to dive into dinner…Honey porter chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, Tri Tip with chimichurri as well as brown butter and sage brussels sprouts and a wedge salad- bring it on!!
We had so much fun zestin, thanks MGE!!
