Honey Jar Wedding Favor

Hey there Zesters! I know we are building up the anticipation for our Southern Bell Inspired Wedding Photo shoot today! We thought we would let another decor idea leak out….we will be doing blush/creams/corals/ and hints of gold- sounds like we need some sweet honaaayyy tea and honaaay bees huh? We couldn’t resist but to have honey be a big part of the theme, from a honey inspired menu to honeycomb nested in the decor- time to make some honey jar wedding favors for guests to take home!

First step- design the tag for your present, I wanted to incorporate the honeycomb into all the stationary for this wedding (see the drink label above). I brought in the coral and blushes throughout the design and even the cute “meant to bee” saying. I used Adobe Illustrator and found a cute vector of a honeybee online:)(then I printed these at Staples on white card stock)

Choose a fun fabric that will match your decor (burlap? lace? silk? corduroy?) Mine is an old pillow case!:)

Next it was the messy and yummy part! Fill er up- collect mason jars of all sorts of shapes and sizes! I got my little jars at the thrift store which means they had an awesome price- but no lids! Because this is just a shoot, should be fine- but I would get lids for yours!! (less mess!)

Turned out too cute right?! These honeywands added the extra detail it needed, got these guys for $1.50 at our local Kitchen Collection store.

Can’t wait to see you guys and do some Zestin- Sammy Williams Hair and MakeupKelsea Holder Photography, and Chelsea Cutler of Blissful Blossoms!! Zesters be on the look out for photos!
