Halloween Dinner Party Inspiration

I love the trend towards creating elaborate Halloween Galas for us adults to have fun outside of trick or treating! I don’t know about you, but I am pretty darn stoked on events like Tooth & Nail’s Halloween Harvest Costume Ball happening at the castle here in Paso Robles next month. I love that it is an excuse to go all-out with dressing up and making it a night (and it’s pretty darn cool that it benefits MUST Charity). I guess there is part of me that just doesn’t want to grow up!
I am sure that we will be comin’ at you with loads of ideas for costumes, but I wanted to share a little inspiration for creating a little Halloween Glam at home. I am thinking a mystery dinner set at home with 10-15 friends who want to go all out. Instead of garish orange and black decor laden with skeletons and spiders, I am thinking a bit more sophisticated with just a hint of goth.

I am now truly inspired by this beauty to start hunting for the perfect Murder Mystery Dinner Kit!  With 5 weeks left to plan, there is plenty of time to create an amazing night!  Oooo, I think some French inspired frog’s legs should be on the menu!  Oh, and garlicky escargots! Time to class up the joint….maybe even a bubbly, blood-red Kir Royale as an aperitif. SOOO inspired!

  1. Thank you for the shout out about the event we are producing at Tooth and Nail. We have been working on the Halloween Harvest Costume Ball for a year now and it is going to be epic. Please be sure to come and introduce yourself to me, Jennifer, and my husband Brad! We would love to meet you.
