Ginger Turmeric Immunity Shots

Here we are inching into December which means fuzzy socks, the fireplace and immunity shots??? haha I know not your favorite combo- but let’s face it we need to be on guard as we get those scratchy throats and drippy noses! Just say NO to the cold with these immunity boosts. These are also anti-inflammatory- score!! These non-alcoholic shots are made with four simple ingredients that are sure to leave you feeling healthy and ready to kick the cold in the boot-tay! Simply pop the following in your juicier or blender….

  • 2 apples
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 inch ginger root
  • 2 inch turmeric root

I cubed everything up…you could peel your ingredients too if you would like (this may help with texture because I will admit, mine were quite “stringy”)

After blending, I also would suggest using a small mesh strainer and pour into shot glasses- this will help with those fibrous stings that were getting me. Otherwise though, WOW these little bombs were powerful! May have to sip these guys!!
