Brr this cold weather has got me wanting to eat any and everything warm- the only problem is usually that doesn’t involve too many veggies. Here is a simple recipe that will warm up the belly plus get some fruit and veggies in the diet. Plus Chanda and I love anything with apple cider vinegar- that sweet and sour tartness gets us every time!! We frequently haunt our local Whole Foods for lunch and we often find ourselves wanting some warm comfort food that isn’t just mashed potatoes. German cabbage and apples has become a personal fave so we decided to take our own stab at making the yumminess!
Throw your ingredients together in a medium sized pot!
Cook covered until cabbage is tender (about 1 hour)!
Then serve hot or cold! Could it be any easier?? YUM!
