My mom owns two salons (yep I suppose that is where I got bit by the entrepreneurial bug) and she is the best boss. There are many reasons she is a boss babe- she is a great leader, listens to her employees, harbors an amazing pampered atmosphere for clients- but she also bakes cakes. Lol My crazy momma makes a cake for every single one of her stylists for their bday. Guys that means she bakes like 40 cakes a year or so!!! She even lets them choose their favorite flavor!! She has definitely perfected the balance of delicious but efficient. That is exactly what today’s post is all about. Yes- we will use a cake box. But we will doctor that baby up to make some of the freshest and moistest cupcakes yet! With it being strawberry season and all we thought it seemed very fitting to jump on that train!
Cut the tops off all your strawberries and blend them up to make your liquid measurement.
Then grab your blender and throw all the rest of your ingredients in!
I said efficient didn’t I? 🙂
Next pour into cupcake liners and pop into oven, simply follow the baking instructions on the box.

Here is a quick easy recipe to make with fresh strawberries- yum!
- 1 box Vanilla cake mix
- 1 package fresh strawberries
- eggs (see box)
Simply follow the directions on the box for ingredients and then make sure you replace all liquids (expect for eggs) with your strawberry puree!
