Hello there! Thanks for stopping by, I am Samantha Nason and I have a passion for art and design, I feel as though beauty can be seen in ANYTHING and that’s why I love the challenge of innovating beauty in objects that are often seen as trash. This is something I am constantly reminding my amazing husband who has so much grace for all the bulky creations that constantly fill his once perfectly empty garage-ha! We just got married in June 2011 and our year has been filled with lots of blessings and surprises from him being hired as a full time firefighter paramedic to getting our first baby- an adorable mini doxie (you will meet Lucy in our posts) and me graduating from California Polytechnic University in the College of Architectural and Environmental Design, specifically Landscape Architecture. Now to the important stuff- my favorite color is teal, my weakness is chocolate chip cookie dough, and you have probably never seen so many dresses in one place unless you have been to my closet (definitely had to work with hubby to make them fit when I moved in after the wedding, hehe). Through planning our wedding I found that I had another love- planning designs and themes for weddings and special days. I was the crazy bride that painted and upholstered 15 chairs, collected all her own jars and vases to make her own flower arrangements, made her veil, party favors, invitations, and wedding décor. Basically I love creating spaces (indoor or outdoor) that successfully weave art and creative innovation in order for people to feel inspired, at home, and create memorable experiences. Check out any opportunity I get to do what i love on our posts….
