Hi all, please allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Brittany Angelo and I am Zest it Up’s new(ish) intern for the Spring. I am returning to contributing to the lovely Zest blog and you will be seeing me in action on Trendy Tuesdays, so stay tuned and stay up on the hottest musts!
A little more about Brittany…
Brittany is a 22 West Coast native getting ready to brave the real world. From SoCal to the Central Coast, she has always been inspired by the natural, relaxed, boho feel the beautiful beach cities she has surrounded herself around had to offer. She is a lover of all things fashion, a sucker for punk music, and has a growing passion for design. As independence has come with growing up, long weekends in L.A. have presented a love for edge that has since effected her personal style, juxtaposing that “boho-beach” with “motorcycle-cool”. A brief 4 month stint in Prague was one of those once-in-a-life-time moments that really sets the need to grow as a person into motion. Arriving back to the states was when the realization came that everything had changed for the better; one’s perspective on style, culture, design, art, music, and yourself is immensely shifted. Brittany is now currently realizing that exploring and adventuring is absolutely necessary for the soul, inspiration, and creativity. World traveling has allowed Brittany to become an independent thinker and gain the confidence to evolve into the strong, stylish, fearless woman she hopes to be.
Although unsure exactly what she is destined to do, she is enjoying and grateful to learn all she can to better understand the professional direction that is best for her, while still trying to figure out what being in her 20’s really means! Whether escaping to San Francisco for a last minute concert with friends or heading down to L.A. for a exhibit at the LACMA and a quick lunch at Joan’s on Third, Brittany is trying to shed those over-thinking instincts, and realize how vital it is to our soul to explore (and that inspiration can truly be found everywhere). For now, she is rolling with the punches and looking at life through an open and inviting lens, ready and excited for what the world will throw her way.
And finally, some food for thought and a little Wednesday wisdom
